See a lonely bed outside your window, covered in a thin blanket of snow? Fret not, your green thumbs need not twiddle for long. There are plenty of hardy (and tasty!) cool-weather crops that actually thrive in colder climates (think Kale, broccoli, and cabbages), and some that started as seedlings, will become the first harbingers of Spring (think peas, tender lettuces, asparagus, potatoes and rhubarb.)snowy_kale
